Jalang'o with the Money! I had to start this piece on that note. Anyway, a couple of days back the story broke that Jalang'o had allegedly conned Joe, the proprietor of Candy n Candy records after the story appeared on Monday Blues, a segment on The Standard.

I reached out to Jalang'o to find out what was happening and he had this to say:

 "We've even paid him. What happened if you've seen the screen shots he's sending to guys, we booked his guys rooms at Crayfish but they didn't come.

What happened is that they wanted the event to be known as Candy and Candy Presents: Mashujaa Pool Party. Boss, his 200,000 cannot sponsor such an event. We met and agreed but he's still a fame whore anyway but we've already paid them."
