Rumours. It's said that by the time the truth has finally begun to lace up it's boots, a rumour has already made it half the way across the world.

Funny thing this "rumour"...

When you Google the term, this is what you will indubitably find:

And yet it is still said that where there is smoke, there is fire. For all their faults, the ancestors atleast left us with wisdom.

When word originally broke -possibly the wedding of the year- had borne the bitter fruit of one of the worst celebrity marriages in history, I was shocked.

To me (and indeed to many a bystander), it was unfathomable that a wedding that had taken place amidst such pomp and celebration could have ended so soon and in so acrimonious a manner.

There were even rumours that the union was marked by some violence. Afterall, Msafiri Kyallo (Dennis Okari's brother in-law) hinted as much:

But what was the last straw that broke the camel's back? Well, if rumours are to be believed, a car was.

According to reports from sources close to the couple, Babji as she is affectionately called by her friends showed up one day in a car she couldn't account for And Denno flew into a blind rage.

That was what I must admit intrigued me out of all the rumours I'd heard. And so I begun digging, looking for proof of fact or proof of the opposite.

It has taken little over three months but I am glad to say that the arduous undertaking has been a profitable one indeed -I finally have results to show for my efforts.

The car in question has fueled many a wagging tongue but in the past, when we spoke to about her cars and property, she was adamant she'd procured it all for herself.

She went on record to say the following:

“I REALLY DON’T WANT TO TALK ABOUT THIS NOW. IT’S REALLY A HARD TIME FOR ME. BUT I CAN SAY THAT EVERYTHING THAT I OWN, I BOUGHT IT MYSELF. ALL THE CARS I HAVE WERE BOUGHT BY ME. I HAVE NO RELATIONS WITH ANY POLITICIANS. THE REASONS TO OUR SPLIT WERE BASED PURELY ON MARITAL DIFFERENCES,” SHE SAID.

Given her assertion, you can understand why my curiosity was peaked when I found out she had been to work in a brand new sleek ultra-luxurious SUV. Especially given, as I had mentioned earlier, all the reports and rumours about a car being behind her marital woes.

If the rumours are to be believed, it is alleged that Betty Kyallo acquired a car whose source was in a word obscured. And Dennis Okari was having none of it!

Last week, on Friday the 5th of August 2016 to be exact, I found that Betty Kyallo had driven to work in an ultra luxurious SUV. First, allow me to show you other photos she has taken while at KTN:

Pay close attention to the background. That is at the KTN/Standard Media Group HQ.

And I reiterate, last week, she drove in, in this car:

That is a champagne coloured 2015 Porsche Cayenne GTS (Grand Turismo Sport).

We did a quick check on just how much the car costs and it's specs. At it's base value with no added features, the stock option of the car retails at $95,500! That is 10million shillings rounded up. And that is before we take account of the fact that it would need to be shipped in and duty paid!
