Kenyan singer Esther Akoth, popularly known as Akothee, has finally spoken on claims that she's dating her manager Nelson Oyugi.

For some time now, rumors have been doing rounds that the "Yuko Moyoni" singer and her manager who is known as Nelly Oaks in the entertainment circles are going out together.

What fueled the rumors even further is the fact that she always sends him sweet messages on social media.

Like there was this time Akothee went all mushy while wishing celebrating their first year of working together. Learned people call it an anniversary.

In a candid interview with Mpasho, Akothee dismissed claims that they are in a relationship while referring to him as his guardian angel.

When this writer asked her whether she would consider dating him in future, she said that "he's a handsome guy who has all the qualities a man should have."

Given an opportunity, Akothee would actually date Nelson. There you have it folks!
