Speculation has been rife that Dennis Okari and Betty Kyallo were no longer an item barely six months after their much-publicized nuptials held at Marula Manor in Karen.
According to sources, the couple had separated and filed for a divorce citing "irreconcilable differences" as the reason behind the move. The most commonly cited reason for this was infidelity.
What added fuel to the fire was the fact that KTN news anchor and her husband - who works as an investigative reporter at NTV - had not been seen in public for more than two months prior to word getting out.
Betty's younger sister, Mercy Kyallo, put up a post on Instagram around the time the former and her husband were having difficulties in their marriage.
She confirmed that couple was indeed having problems while adding that their family had promised to give her their 100% support.
Dennis has shied away from talking about his marriage with the sultry news anchor, until today that is.

When asked why Betty had stopped using his surname, Okari said nothing was happening between them and that he had come across the rumors of their separation on social media.
He also nodded in agreement when Massawe asked him whether they were still an item.
