A woman has been charged with threatening to slash her neighbour's throat and accusing her of killing her husband after sleeping with him without properly cleaning herself.

Roseline Ndung'u, 33, allegedly threatened to harm Rose Wayua on July 15 in Industrial areas after discovering that Wayua had a relationship with her late husband.

According to court records, Wayua was heading to her business stall when Ndung'u waylaid and confronted her.

Ndung'u denied causing disturbance in a manner likely to breach peace.

Senior principal magistrate Angelo Kithinji released her on Sh10,000 bail.

The case will be mentioned on August 10.
