The movie everyone in Kenya is watching is Victor Frankenstein, one of the best movies of the year. Let me take you behind the scenes first before we go watch it.
Back in 1818, Mary Shelley released one of the most iconic novels dubbed "Frankenstein". It explored how modern scientific experiments can go wrong and in this case, Victor Frankenstein created a giant monster that would later come to destroy him.
In present day, Igor, Frankenstein's young assistant is trying to save his master's mistake.
This reimagining of the Frankenstein mythos focuses on Igor (Daniel Radcliffe), the assistant of Victor Frankenstein (James McAvoy). The mad scientist had built an undead creature that soon becomes a grave danger, and now it's up to Igor to save Frankenstein from both the monster and himself.
The film was Written by Max Landis (Chronicle) and directed by Paul McGuigan and is currently showing at All Crimson Multimedia Cinemas in Kenya. You need to watch it because from my experience watching it, I can attest that it's not your average film. The two characters are suave, full of witty lines and will keep you glued through out the movie.
