Members of Kenyans' favourite band Sauti Sol have revealed what they think of Akothee's music and whether they would do a collabo with her in future.

In an interview hosted by yours truly, the 'Nishike' hitmakers said they have utmost respect for Akothee and that the local entertainment scene needs more ladies like her.

Bien-Aime Baraza labelled her a hard worker while adding that she is way better than many Kenyan musicians who laugh at her.

"I'll tell you the truth, Akothee is working harder than a lot of Kenyan musicians who laugh at her. People talk ill about her yet she is a hard worker. She has worked with some of the biggest starts in the continent. People will talk and that's the aim of the entire exercise..For there to be conversations," he said.

He went on to say that if there were just two more ladies who are willing to put as much as Akothee putting into her music, the Kenyan music industry would be a different story.

Weighing in, Polycarp Otieno - popularly known as Fancy Fingers - said the mother of five is doing a great job.
