Today, Cliff Ombeta caused a stir at Milimani law courts after he appeared wearing sweatpants, a snapback, and a casual jacket. lawyers always dress smartly in suits when appearing before court.

Yesterday, he didn't appear in court during the mention of the case because he was unwell, sources say. Today morning, he was summoned to appear before Justice Jessie Lessit and said he can't represent his clients, insisting he was sick.

Ombeta said he still won't be available on Monday.

Justice Lessit says Ombeta is not on trial and they should respect his privacy. The case will be mentioned on Tuesday.
