There's an alleged thief who fortunately or unfortunately, managed to escape a thorough beating by a mob who almost killed him.

The young man had apparently stolen a gas cylinder and a travelling bag, and on his way out, he was noticed by someone who alarmed the area residents who descended on the alleged thief with heavy blows and kicks.

The young lad later tried running away but was stopped by someone who hit him with a jembe.
