Margaret Muchemi, the current first runners-up in the Miss World Kenya competition has been in Poland for the Miss Supranational International beauty pageant, where she emerged among the top 20 in the tightly contested title. Margaret has previously been Miss World Kenya Kajiado county, a position she used to actualize several projects in her rural community.

The beauty queen has worked closely with Ahadi Kenya on their anti-jigger campaign, helped schools with donations in several counties as well as with 'Smile Train', an NGO that offers free cleft lip and palate corrective surgery to children from less fortunate backgrounds.

Some of the activities that she did were visiting the capital city of Poland, Warsaw and the beauty pageant training. Last September, she represented Kenya at the Diaspora Entertainment and Recognition Awards (DEAR) in Dallas, Texas, where she managed to win the modeling category award.
