Miss World Kenya 2015 Charity Mwangi arrived at JKIA from China earlier today. The annual pageant came to an end yesterday and Spanish Mireia Lalaguna Royo took the crown home. It has been an epic journey for Charity, an opportunity that comes once in a lifetime.
Charity was welcomed by members of the County Government of Kiambu – where she hails from – and Ashleys representatives.
Earlier on before leaving China, she took to Instagram to share a photo of hers posing with the new Miss World and shared a warm message with her fans.
“And the journey just came to a start ladies and gentlemen. The end of something is the beginning of another. Miss World has been by far the best experience of my life yet, thank you Kenya for giving me the honor to represent you,” she said.
The beauty queen was wished all the best by President Uhuru Kenyatta before her departure during a visit to State House where she was accompanied by Miss World Kenya 2014 Idah Ngumah.
“I carried our flag with pride, dignity and love every second I was in China. I look forward to sharing my life, love, and all I have with you as we walk through my reign together,” Charity added.
