Mike Sonko's son gifted sleek Mercedes Benz for passing KCSE

Former Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko's family has gifted their adopted son, Gift Osinya a car for performing very well in the just released KCSE results.

The family have celebrated Gift, an Alumni of Lenana School for scoring a B- in the national examinations.

As a way of celebrating him, he was given a Mercedes Benz SLK car.

Gift will now be cruising with the luxurious two seater vehicle that has sleek interiors. The German machine is retractable and has a turbocharged engine.

Like Sonko's other children, Gift's vehicle depicts affluence. He took NTV's Fridah Mwaka on a ride around his compound.

After the release of the examinations, Mike Sonko celebrated Gift's performance, saying that God had been faithful to him.

The former Governor also cited that his son will be joining a public University in the country.

He recalled the circumstances leading to Gifts adoption, when Gifts mother was shot in a terrorist attack at Mombasa.

"When terrorists struck a church in Likoni on the Sunday of 23rd March, 2014 taking the life of his mum and other worshipers, Master Gift Osinya was left traumatised, terrified and hopeless with a bullet lodged in the head of his younger brother, Master Satrine Osinya," wrote Sonko.
