As Kenyans continue to mourn the death of the students who died in the deadly Alshabaab attack last week, Team Sonko Rescue Team and Red Cross are working around the clock to ensure the famiilies of the Garissa attack camping at Chiromo mortuary are taken care of.

The two teams who also took part in the vigil  that was held at Uhuru Park last night , have set a base at Chiromo Mortuary where they are providing first aid and various emergency medical ervices.

Mike Sonko the CEO of Team Sonko Rescue Team, took it to Facebook to thank all Kenyans who contributed towards helping the families of the Garissa Attack victims. "I would like to take this opportunity to thank all Kenyans who have contributed towards helping the families of the Garissa Attack victims.

Today, in conjunctiom with Kenya Redcross, Sonko Rescue Team have set base at Chiromo Mortuary where they are providing first aid and various emergency medical services. They are also providing food, clean drinking water and energy boosters to volunteers at the mortuary. We will continue offering support to the affected families. Let us keep up with this spirit of unity for a better Kenya. God bless you all," he posted.
