Today marks the final journey of Mike Sonko's father Gideon Kioki Mbuvi on earth. The old man who passed on early this month while undergoing treatment at the Kenyatta National Hospital will be laid to his final resting place today in Mua Hills, Machakos County.

To show his last respect for his father, Nairobi Senator Mike Sonko bought the fallen soldier an expensive casket that was adorned in what looked like gold and diamond gems.
