Meshack Keith Bwisa, an employee of the Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) — registry department — in Kakamega, committed suicide at his home.
His body was found on his bed after his family members reported to the police after failing to reach him.
He had gone missing on December 25, 2019 before being found dead on December 29, 2019.
Kakamega Central OCPD David Kabena said a suicide note was found next to him.
“THERE WAS A SUICIDE NOTE PLACED NEXT TO HIS BODY.
IN THE LETTER, BWISA BLAMED FRUSTRATIONS ARISING FROM UNSUCCESSFUL BETS AS THE REASON FOR HIS SUICIDAL IDEA.
IN THE NOTE, HE ALSO ADVISED THE YOUTH AND HIS FAMILY MEMBERS TO REFRAIN FROM BETTING, SAYING IT ENDS UP IMPOVERISHING PEOPLE,” SAID KABENA.
According to his last social media post he shared on how he loves King Kaka's song 'Wajinga Nyinyi.' stating he loved it to death.
