Gospel artiste Mercy Masika is celebrating a milestone in her marriage after she and her husband-cum-manager celebrated 12 years in marriage.

The couple who have two children met in 2007 at a wedding reception that Mercy was performing at.

David Muguro was the event's videographer.

Celebrating her husband on their special day Mercy penned,

Taking to his social media platform, Masika's husband also penned a sweet message thanking his wife for not only being a good wife but a good mother and confidant.

'A dozen years of awesome relationship, of a wife that became a mother who has been just my pillar in many ways.

Happiest anniversary my friend, you are my choice then, now and everyday .'

David is not only Masika's husband but he is also her music manager.

Mercy is best known for songs such as  'Nikupendeze, Amukomete, Mwema, Sule Yako, Huyu Yesu among others.
