Cheating amongst men and women has always been a hot topic, yet there seems not to have been any conclusive approach towards finding out the real cause of cheating. A recent research by IPSOS Synovate shows that 79% of women who have cheated knew that the men who they were going out with were in a marriage.

This is shocking. As if that's not enough, 85% of those interviewed said that they did it for financial support. 17 percent said that they had a feeling that married men are more responsible than bachelors, hence their preference. Only 1% said that it was due to peer pressure.

The men who cheat the most are recorded to be from the Luo community at 30%, the Kikuyu follow closely at 17%, the Kamba at 14%, Luhyas lie at 13%, the Kalenjin at 7% and lastly the Kisii at 7%.
