Meghan Markle and her husband Prince Harry have in an interview with Oprah Winfrey revealed that she thought of committing suicide.

This is because of how badly she was constantly treated by the royal family majorly due to her skin color.

According to Meghan, so bad were things that the Royal Family was ready to deny her child the royal title just because of his/her skin color.

'They said that he/she was not going to be a prince or princess depending on the gender when born.

That would be a different protocol from what is normally followed.

There were also conversations on how dark he/she would be when born.

They even said they would not provide security for him/her.

Further adding

'I did not want to be alive.

I realized that I was not being protected like they were protecting other people. They were however willing to lie to protect other members of the family.

They were not willing, to tell the truth, and protect me.'

Meghan and Harry caught many by surprise after choosing to denounce the royal family and starting a life of their own.

That decision did not sit well with the Royal family and there has been tension ever since.

Meghan and Prince Harry suffered a miscarriage but are currently expecting a baby girl.
