Anyday you wake up alive and healthy, go on your knees and thank God. You never know what might happen to you. You might die in an accident or something bad might happen to you. On Sunday morning, October 2, Eliud Muchiri Gathangira the bodyguard of Thika Town MP Alice Ng’ang’a, died in a grisly road accident along the superhighway, opposite Juja Police Station.

According to sources, Mr. Muchiri was speeding when his car wheeled on avocados that had spilled on the road, thus veering off the road and died on the spot.

"The pickup had littered the road with avocados. Muchiri hadn't seen them and thus he drove over them making the car he was driving to veer off the road and land into a ditch," The witness told Daily Nation.

Mr Muchiri’s body was taken to General Kago Funeral Home in Thika and will be transferred to another mortuary while they embark on burial arrangements.

"We are treating this as a normal accident. His body is lying at General Kago but we shall transfer it to another mortuary with the permission of the family," said one his colleagues. Well, for those who don't know the late Muchiri
