When the Sauti Sol “Shake Ya Bambam” video came out, I was awed by the quality of the production. The band worked with top African music director Clarence Peters.

Among the girls featured at the introduction of the video with three pretty girls walking in to a venue. The girl in the middle happens to be Charity Mwangi, who was crowned Miss World Kenya 2015 last Friday at Weston Hotel, Nairobi.

Sauti Sol took to Facebook to congratulate her for the win. She’s all over the newspapers and the Internet now.

The 22-year-old was Miss World Kenya, Kajiado County in the 2014 edition of the pageant. She takes over from Idah Nguma, who happens to be from the same university as her; Kenyatta University.

The first runners up of the contest was Margaret Muchemi, who has been representing Kajiado County. Olive Waithera from Muranga County was the second runners up.

By the way team mafisi should know this; she is taken.
