“Being in politics is like being a football coach. You have to be smart enough to understand the game, and dumb enough to think it’s important. ” In Kenya many dream of becoming politicians and once you get the chance, that’s it; you are branded the “people’s savior.” All you need to do is to represent your people.
But once the election is over, politicians forget about those who helped them gain fame and turn to fighting each other. Most of them are always involved in public hate campaigns, even use social media platforms to spread hatred amongst Kenyans. They will say anything based on tribal lines just to hurt their opponents.
Below is a list of loose tongue Kenyan politicians, do you agree with me?
1. Aden Duale
“Hii pesa si ya mama yako bwana” Aden Duale was reported in media as having insulted Bomet County Governor Isaac Ruto at a function in Narok County over the referendum push.
Sometime last year at a press conference, a journalist from Nation Media group by the name Kennedy Muriithi asked a question and former VP Kalonzo Musyoka was caught on camera as he replied to him by saying “your last name betrays you”.
2. Moses Kuria
He has been in the spotlight for so long. He says what he feels needs to be said without caring about the consequences. Below is a compilation of the dumbest statements he has ever made, (click to read)
3. William Kabogo
He is reported to have said “I do not respond to uncircumcised girls,” a statement that caused an uproar especially amongst women
4. Kiraitu Murungi

5. Ferdinand Waititu

Well, sometime back the former boxer was reported by the media as having asked his constituents to burn officials from the power distribution company whenever they saw them but later on came out to deny that. “Siku sema hivyo, nilisema ukiona wao weka tire gari ipite.”
