Kanze was in 2018 appointed as State House Spokesperson and Head of the President’s Strategic Communication Unit (PSCU).

Since then she has been keeping completely under the radar and is rarely seen on social media.

She was loved by many during her days as a TV presenter on Citizen TV alongside LouLou Hassan. The two were at the time considered Kenya's popular TV duo.
