When I interviewed Bahati sometime last year, I had to use Swahili. It's however not his fault that he is not comfortable using English since he struggled with schooling growing up in Mathare. He opened up about not having been a bright student in school. The singer has however done exceptionally well in perfecting his talent, something that has seen him rise to become one of the best musical acts in Kenya.

Bahati has been hanging out with his pal Nick Mutuma and even joked about being taught English so that he could sound learned and use ambiguous words when he goes back to the ghetto. The singer has been riding high on his latest song "Story Yangu", a collaboration with Denno.
