Popularly known for negative profiles, not all the Kenyan footballers are deadbeats, womanizers or sex addicts. If you happen to attend a local match, you will be surprised by the large number of women compared to men in the stadium. Some of them come with different motives better known to themselves and after matches, you will see them hang around the stadium maybe to accomplish their missions.

In the Kenyan Premier League, we have more than 300 players playing for 16 teams under different sponsorships. Most of the players are proud husbands and fathers taking good care of their families unlike others who are best known for one night stands and taking off when a baby is in the horizon (deadbeat fathers).

Some of the best and most disciplined footballers on and off the pitch nclude: Harambee Stars striker Allan Wanga who is married to Ntv’s reporter Brenda Wanga, Former Gor Mahia midfielder Kevin Omondi married to Asha Dantez, Mathare’s Midfielder Pablo Njuguna married to Jacinta Njuguna, Gor Mahia’s Patrick Oboya and AFC Leopards forward Kelly Jacob whom their wives are not known to the public. All of them are happily maried with children.
