Popular comedian MCA Tricky has revealed that last conversation he had with the late comedian Emmanuel Makori Nyambane who was known by his moniker of Ayieya.

The comedian who was known from going on stage with a bent up briefcase, breathed his last on April 14, 2017, after he was involved in a grisly road accident.

The accident was at the junction of Catholic University of Eastern Africa on Magadi Road.

MCA Tricky looks at him like a sort of mentor who showed him the ropes when he started out at the Churchill show.

Speaking to SDE, MCA Tricky said:

When I first landed at Churchill Show, he was the first person to invite me to perform at a function as he believed in my abilities. Anytime he landed a side hustle, say emceeing in a wedding, he would invite me to accompany him. That really strengthened our bond. And fellow comedians knew it.

MCA also revealed that a conversation he had with Ayieya has stuck with him, a year later.

On the outside, he gave an impression of being a ‘bad boy’ but in reality, he was one spiritual man. He loved to end his shows calling on the audience to get saved, something that he also used to tell me. Whenever he got personal with a fellow comedian, he would start preaching to them.

Ayieya’s colleagues in the comedy industry remembered him in moving tributes.

Losing Emmanuel Makori (Ayieyaaa) is unbearable…may God be with his family and friends at this trying time. He played his part as a comedian, actor, dad and a good friend, its a sad day indeed for everyone. Rest in peace Baba Tamara.

I can’t believe I’m about to say rest well bro gone too soon. Soo wise, extremely funny with a heart of gold you supported me, you gave me confidence you told me I can do it I haven’t shed tears in a long time yet now I can’t stop my eye’s. I mourn you deep down if only life would be restored you deserve to come back. See you in heaven. I know you are laughing with the angels, I miss you, we all do. RIP Ayieyaaa.
