Former Youth and Sports Assistant Minister Wavinya Ndeti is known for her vocal and candid take on political matters.

But at home, she is a different person, a loving doting mother.

Wavinya was married to Joseph Henry Dolamu Oduwale before his untimely death in 2016.

He died in Nairobi Hospital where he had been admitted after his blood pressure shot up drastically.

He was in ICU at the time.

According to Wavinya,

'A strong woman loves, natures, encourages, offers positive energy, forgives, perseveres, looks forward no matter what life throws at her.'

Wavinya met Oduwale in the early 1990s in the UK where they were both pursuing higher education.

They had a church wedding in the UK but solemnized their union in 2008 through a Kamba traditional ceremony in Kathiani.

The ceremony at her parents’ home in Mua Hills drew a crowd that included politicians and people of all walks of life.

The three kids left behind are Charles, Daniel and Alicia. Wavinya's kids have since grown up and below are their photos.

Wavinya has a beautiful family and very soon she will have to safeguard her daughter against team mafisi.
