The whole world knows the Facebook co-founder was in Kenya. Mark Zuckerberg jetted into Nairobi, where he visited the iHub technology hub in Nairobi, meet with developers and partners, and explore the sucess of Mpesa.

Zuckerberg wanted to find out how Facebook can better support small businesses, developers and content creators across growing markets.

As per kawaida, the techwizz had to visit Kenya's tourist destinations. When he posted about his trip to Naivasha, Ugandans and Tanzanians were envious.

"Mark you should visit Uganda the pearl of Africa to see the mountain of the moon, Rwezori, River Nile, Lake Victoria and the gorillas its just a few miles from Kenya," one fan from the land of Museveni wrote.

In the same breath Magufuli's people were also begging the Facebook co-founder to visit their country.

One wrote, "Mark you should come in United Republic of Tanzania the pearl of Africa to see amazing natural beautiful and wildlife including Ngorongoro creater, mount Kilimanjaro, giraffes, rhino, elephants here i try to mention some of them."

Another added, "Welcome in Tanzania 350 km from Kenya to see the beauty of mount Kilimanjaro ( the highest mt in Africa , Serengeti National parks , Ngorongoro Crater and so much more. We are well endowed in natural resources : Tanzania the island of peace in the world."

During his visit, Zukerberg has lunch at Mama Oliech - football legend Dennis Oliech's mum's restaurant.

He wrote, "I had lunch in Nairobi with Joseph Mucheru, the Kenyan Cabinet Secretary of Information and Communications. We talked about internet access and his ambitious plans for connecting everyone in Kenya. We ate at MAMA Oliech Restaurant. -- a local place everyone recommended. One of my favorite parts of traveling to a new country is trying the food. I enjoyed ugali and a whole fried tilapia for the first time and loved them both!"
