Charles Bukeko and Ken Gichoya aka Njoroge of Papa Shirandula TV series were a formidable pair.

They lightened our living rooms and left us in stitches whenever they graced the screen.

But unfortunately, we will never watch them do what they loved most after Papa Shirandula died and the TV series ended.

Papa Shirandula was eulogized as a great man by family and friends and so did Njoroge.

Speaking to Mpasho, he said,

PAPA WAS NOT JUST MY CO-ACTOR BUT HE WAS FAMILY, IT WILL TAKE TIME FOR ME TO ACCEPT THAT I WON’T SEE PAPA AGAIN BUT SLOWLY I WILL OVERCOME THE GRIEF. THERE IS NO DEFINITE TIME AS TO WHEN I WILL BE ABLE TO ACCEPT HIS DEMISE.
