A middle-aged man in Kijabe village, Lari, is suspected to have committed suicide after a quarrel with his wife.

The body of the 33-year-old man was found hanging in his house on Wednesday morning.

Witness Peter Wang’ombe said the deceased had frequently quarreled with his wife, even in public. He said efforts to reconcile the two were unsuccessful and no one knew what they argued about.

“It is sad that a young soul can commit suicide for reasons that can be addressed through counseling,” Wang’ombe said.
