Lillian Ng'ang'a Mutua - wife to Machakos County Governor Alfred Mutua - is without a doubt one of the most beautiful public figures in Kenya.

She has been lauded time and time again for playing a big role in ensuring that her husband the most performing of the 47 governors in Kenya.

Lillian usually accompanies the governor to his public events and was also credited for ensuring women turned out in large numbers to vote for him in the last General Elections.

Mutua met his wife, a former air hostess, in March 2011 and they became close friends. The two later fell in love and got married soon after.

Anyway, about a week ago Alfred Mutua turned a year older but he was to busy to celebrate, I presume.

His wife took to social media to send him the sweetest birthday message, calling him one of the sweetest pet names ever.

"A very happy birthday to you sweetheart, I love you." Lillian wrote.

But that was not all, apparently.

A few days ago, Lillian organized a small birthday party for her husband at their home and later shared a photo on social media.

In the photo, Governor Mutua is seen wearing a bright smile as he cuts through a cake with the words 'Happy Birthday. I love you' on it.
