Governor Mike Sonko's wife and Nairobi county first lady Primrose Mbuvi celebrated her birthday on January 1.

The flashy party, which was held at their home in Kikambala Kilifi county was attended by her family and close friends.

As it is always a norm for the wealthy family, guests were treated to a great night with expensive drinks served.

From Moet & Chandon champagne to brandies to whiskies, the party seems to have cost the governor's family an arm and a leg.

Bottles of 1500ml of Moet & Chandon were in plenty. A single bottle ranges from Sh10,000 to Sh 20,000 depending on where it's bought.

The party was lit and at some point, the flashy governor was pictured kissing his wife before the guests.
