They say love is blind and I agree with that. Wade Welch and Fenny Akinyi are a great example of this phrase.

Akinyi is among the few Kenyan women, who have gone beyond borders and married someone from a different race.

Wade, of American origin and Akinyi from Ndhiwa Homabay county, got married in 2016 and in an old post, the mzungu revealed how the daughter from Nyanza won his heart.

"After we left her village I again promised Fenny that if things didn't work out back home I would marry her. Fenny never asked me for anything but kept coming over to cook and clean for me. The day came I got my answer from home and Fenny said she will never leave me and 6 months later I married her as I promised."

In another post, the mzungu showered his Kenyan wife with lots of love and he wrote:

"...wants and desires of this world and even, though I hate to admit it, my Fenny is one of them. I love her with all of my heart. But as a Christian in the covenant, I am to love Christ with all of my hear..."

The two are never shy of displaying their affection for each other in public and oh my, they're just a perfect match!
