Mama Dangote last week revealed on social media that Abdul Juma is not Diamond's biological father.

That bombshell had some serious ripple effects.

She went ahead and named someone else as Diamond's biological dad. Salum Iddi Nyange was unveiled as the father of the bongo star and not  Abdul Juma who for many years everyone has known as the star’s father.

The controversy about Diamond’s paternity erupted after Ricardo Momo said that he shares the same father with Diamond.

 When you look at Diamond and Ricardo what do you see?” Mama Dangote asked the presenter Dida who replied that the two resemble each other.

Dear presenter, Ricardo’s father is the same as Diamond’s father, he is called Salum Iddi”

Speaking on phone, Mama Dangote was asked about the relationship between Queen Darleen and Diamond.

Mzee Abdul was a step father he found me with Naseeb’s pregnancy and he knew it . He told me that he was not responsible for pregnancy. I have on many occasions told him that if he had accepted the pregnancy the child would have been his. He has done nothing to earn that role.

She said Ricardo and Diamond are stepbrothers who were fathered by the late Nyange.

Well, speaking to Wasafi Media, Diamond explained that he has always kept the secret about the paternity issues.

He added that his mother got angry after Mzee Abdul kept on attacking the singer on social media even after he helped him.

'Although I did not get his love, I have always respected him. There was a time he was sick and I visited him but his mother chased me. Mamake alikua hanitaki kabisa and Mzee Abdul pia alikua amenieka mbali hadi kipindi hich nakumbuka akiniambia, 'Umetumwa na mamako uje uniangalie kama nafa, sifi mimi.'

He added;

Akigonjeka ata mama alikua ananiambia nimtumie hela pia. I used to send him money and that is why my mum was angry with him. Kwa nini yeye akitaka hela nilikua nampatia lakini anaenda kunizungumzia vibaya kwenye mitandao.

kuna siku alisema waandishi wa habari ndio walikua wanampa hela. Mpaka mamangu akamuuliza, huoni kama unamharibia jina huyu naye kwenye mitandao. I wanted it to be low key and I honestly regarded him as a dad.
