Radio host Maina Kageni has in the past been accused of favouring women on his heated breakfast show discussions.

So steadfast is his support for the fair sex that his co-host Mwalimu King'ang'i was not pleased.

Mwalimu King'ang'i is however pleased that Maina seems to have had a change of heart. Congratulating him during the morning show on Classic 105, he said,

'Naona sasa umama imekutoka.

Siku hizi umeanza kuongelelea mambo serious mpaka DCI boss Kinoti ameanza kukucongratulate.

You no longer talk about women all the time.

You should know that the media are the ones who set the agenda.'

Maina is a great supporter of women something that mostly leaves men with a bitter taste in the mouth.

So serious were they that in the past they had created posters for him to vie for a women representative for Nairobi county.

Recently reacting to that Maina said,

'Imagine I had such high numbers and I had not done any campaign. So if I had campaigned maybe I could have won?' He joked.

Love or hate him Maina will always be loved by women. This is simply because he actually listens to then and understands what they are saying, something most men do not do.
