Maina Kageni has revealed what his first salary at Radio Africa was, during the morning show which he hosts alongside Mwalimu Kingangi,

Maina who formerly worked at NTV 'lied' that he used to be paid

'Patrick approached me and asked me how much I was being paid. i told him ksh 180,000  yet i was being paid ksh 60,000.

Quarcoo, who was determined to give him a job, offered to pay him a whooping Ksh380,000 and that is how Maina became part of Radio Africa.

He hosts Maina and King'ang'i in the morning.

Narrating his experience Mwalimu said all he wanted was a job and the amount he would be paid did not matter much at the time.

Right now we know that Maina is among the highest paid radio personalities. His bank accounts smile all the way to the bank every end month.
