Maina Kageni celebrated International Women’s Day with a nostalgic post. He shared an old photo of himself with Njambi Koikai on his Instagram. His caption was:
I am blessed to have such amazing women in my life. Heavenly Father, I just want to say thank you for them. #InternationalWomensDay #HappyInternationalWomensDay #Flashback
He also posted an image on his Facebook page that featured a collage of women he was celebrating:
The women featured include Carol Radull, Safaricom chief customer officer Sylvia Mulinge, media personality Tina Kaggia, his mother and his fans.
Some of his followers responded by saying:
Felix van Chepkener Happy women’s day Maina
Partoh Ohsbon Nzioka Kwani how many women days do we have in this calendar it’s confusing that men are not appreciated as such
Mohamed Noor The blessing will increase if u marry. All the best brother #jokes
It is interesting that Maina decided to post a photo of him and Njambi alone on his Instagram page, unlike on his Facebook page.
Njambi has been suffering from endometriosis from when she was a young girl and had to go to the USA last year for advanced treatment.
The disease had ravaged her to a point she weighed just 36kg. She has been a hero since then, highlighting the tough road many endometriosis sufferers undergo in their quest to lead normal lives.
