Don't drop the soap!

No really, afew years ago, I did a piece about T.I.D I'd like to reprise:

In it, I detailed the accounts T.I.D gave of his life in jail. And also detail the rumours that he was sexually assaulted. Back in 2008, T.I.D was sentenced to spending 1 year in prison for assault and while there, the rest of the prisoners attacked him. A fact he himself acknowledged and spoke about.

So when I heard he was facing 3 years over this drug scandal that hit Tanzania and has rocked their entertainment industry and you can't help but be worried about him.

The last time he was in jail, he ended up having to cosy up to a man for protection and in return, he would sing lullabies to him every night. His words, not ours. And he has gone and put himself in a position that could put him back in jail? Oh Lord!

T.I.D which is an acronym for Top In Dar was among a whole host of artists who were mentioned in connection to investigations on drug dealing -though most were simply mentioned as users who the government was hoping would turn state's evidence and snitch on their dealers.

Let us wait to see how the entire saga unfolds.
