Yo! The first time I met Adelle, I was smitten. She has an unbelievable zeal for life that just cannot be hidden. She smiles alot and talks so earnestly. When people are described as full of life, I think she is what they mean.

But behind that smile are some tough times. Times that meant she had to endure with the intent of surviving and flourish thereafter. For those of you who do not know, this lass is a rape survivor.

And when that happened, she chose not to let it define her. And she has never looked back since.

Fact of the matter is that we are starved as a people of proper female role models; lasses who our sisters et cetera can look up to without catching any flack. She has one of the most popular shows on radio, Kiss 100's Mid Morning show and did so when radio.

And to top it all off, she is passionate about empowering other lasses and has set out of her way to touch random lasses hearts with all sorts of positive initiatives.

She has endured social media bullying at it's worst and came out on top. She has encountered human savagery and came out on top. What more would you be looking for?

Adelle is the realest definition of Made in Black -the 254 version. Just what does that even mean? Simple really, stop thinking of black as a colour. Think of it as a mindset. From whence vibrancy and creativity flow.

Something like Guinness. The darkest liquid with the most vibrant flavours for your taste buds. Perhaps there is something to be said about the attitude BLACK.
