According to reports, the "Kioo" hitmaker was given the Starehe Parliamentary nomination ticket on Tuesday, May 2 and Maina Kamanda's win nullified.
Jaguar was caught on camera on Sunday shedding tears outside Jubilee Headquarters after being asked to negotiate with Kamanda on the winner of the polls.
Kamanda had been the declared winner of the race after garnering 10,374 votes, Jaguar on the hand reportedly had 8,391 votes.
However, the musician protested the outcome of the polls and accused his competitor of engaging in electoral practices but his pleas fell on deaf ears.
Jaguar's efforts finally paid off on Tuesday evening after the Jubilee Appeals Tribunal ruled in his favour and awarded him the certificate for Starehe.
He will now face off with controversial businessman Steve Mbogo, who won the ODM ticket in yesterday's primaries and human rights activist Boniface Mwangi.
