About a week ago, a Zimbabwean preacher sparked controversy after selling cucumbers to his congregants.

According to reports, Prophet Walter Magaya banked thousands of dollars after selling each cucumber for $5 (500).

And now, a South African preacher is making headlines after making his congregants drink a disinfectant in order to get healed.

Prophet Rufus Phala -  a pastor with AK Spiritual Christian Church -  told his followers drink an antiseptic while acknowledging that it dangerous to do so.

He also claimed he has been getting WhatsApp messages from people who say they have been healed by obeying his command.
