MAAJABU! Is This What Nairobians Eat Thinking Its Chicken Meat? (PHOTOS)

I am sure most of us have been warned countless times about the dangers of taking meat but we shrug off what we are told because we are a generation that just won't listen.

You will to forced to rethink that decision after setting your eyes some photos that are doing rounds on social media.

I was actually just minding my own business trawling the inter webs when I came across some 'interesting' photos and I felt inclined to share them with you.

The photos which were shared by Twitter user show a man de-feathering a marabou stork bird before placing the pieces into a dish.

What is rather surprising is that it is not the first time city residents are raising concern over a similar issue.

Earlier this year, a social media shared a photo showing a boda boda operator tying one of the dreaded birds on his motorcycle for delivery at a city restaurant.

"This was last night. This man & his group supply these birds to hotels right in the CBD of Nairobi. These birds are called Marabou Stork. You will see them roosting on the trees opposite Nyayo Stadium or at Dandora dumping site. Be very very careful where you eat your chicken stew in town," Jarunda Jaluth Mambobiad CAPTIONED the photo below.
