A group by the name Makeke family dropped a diss track dubbed 'Usawa Na Haki'.

The song talks of why its challenging for artistes from coast to make it the Kenyan music scene.

The main guy rapping in the song says there is a lot of talent from the coastal region but only artistes from Nairobi gain recognition by Radio Presenters.

Below are some of the lyrics of the diss track;

'' Talanta tunazo tulipewa na Mungu. Kama imekuguza ongeza machungu. Ndani ya pwani kuna talanta lakini cha kushangaza kila kitu Nairobi. Mabeach party wasanii ni wa Nairobi, maconcert MC's ni hao hao. Kwa maradio station nyimbo zao zinachezwa ingawaje hazina mafunzo ni kapuka. Fm za humu  zina ubaka hazichezi nyimbo zetu zinacheza nyimbo za Nairobi.''

He went on further stating that Kenyan Radio Presenters are undermining talent from coast. What's worse is that he added salt to the injury by insulting media personalities and media houses.

''Mntaka aje  hamtaki tutambe  hamtaki tung'are mumefanya mziki wa kenya kudharauliwa ati hauna message huo  si Ukenya ni Unairobi. Hivi ni vita vya kipawa dhidi ya wasanii wa pwani na maredio presenter .Tunasota ingawa tuna vipaji mnataka tuwe waizi au majambazi.''
