She is not only an Oscar award-winning actress but she has shown she is also the queen of shade.

Lupita Nyongo has defended herself after Tourism CS Najib Balala said his ministry had unsuccessfully tried to get in touch with her for 5 whole years.

The Magical Kenya ambassadorship was given to Naomi Campbell.

"I know everybody is asking why not Lupita. Lupita has commitments and her managers cannot allow us to access her. We’ve spent the last five years looking for Lupita,” Mr Balala said.

Lupita has responded. In a tweet that has since gone viral she wrote,

"me, when I hear the kenyan ministry of tourism had been looking for me for five years."
