Lupita Nyong'o is indeed a household name the world over following her Hollywood exploits, most notably in the movie 12 Years A Slave that saw her win the coveted Oscar Award. Since then, the dark skinned beau has continued to win the affection of even more fans through her acting and modelling ventures.

In less than two years, the talented actress has landed at least five major endorsement deals with some of the world's top corporate organisations. Two days ago, she was yet again thrilling the audiences, this time at the Public Theater in New York in an off-Broadway play; Eclipsed. The audience included her dad, Anyang Nyong'o, mum and her younger brother Peter.

Mrs. Nyong'o donned a kitenge dress to the event with her husband rocking a floral shirt (quite a departure from his usual suits), while Peter wore an African print bow tie. They stole the show at the play's opening night, proving that indeed fashion runs in the family.
