The largely celebrated actress is in town for her younger sister Wam's wedding. However, Lupita Nyong'o will not be available for public interaction since it's not a work-related trip but a family function. This means that not even the media is invited for the event which will take in Naivasha this weekend.

The most recent East African visit saw her drop in Uganda for a film project dubbed "Queen of Katwe," a Disney production.

"Yes, the Nyong'os' will be at a wedding this weekend and it is for their daughter, Wam. It will be a purely private family function. No media is permitted," one of the close family friends told The Star's Word Is.
