Lulu Hassan's husband Abdalla Rashidy says the unthinkable about Kanze Dena

Rashidy Abdalla, former NTV presenter has finally confirmed that he's an employee of the Royal Media Services.

Abdalla, who is the husband of Lulu Hassan, will be co-hosting Nipashe Wikendi with his wife after Kanze Dena's departure.

Dena addressed the nation yesterday for the first time after she was appointed the deputy head of the President’s Strategic Communication Unit (PSCU) as well as deputy State House spokesperson by President Uhuru Kenyatta.

Kanze also bid farewell to her supporters in style.

"If God has done it for me it's a clear evidence that He can also do it for you and if you believe God will change your life this year just type God remember me this year," she wrote on Facebook.

In another post, she revealed that Rashidy Abdalla had replaced her.

"Friends it's now confirmed I didn't leave you lonely. My friend Rashidy will replace me. Who will help me welcome him?"

Wow! The two will be the first ever husband-wife pair on Kenyan TV.

The multi-talented anchor, who is known for his mastery of the Swahili language took to social media to shower Kanze with praises and he wrote:

"#sisemikitu Umevika taji thamani ya bidii, uvumilivu, subra na ucha Mungu. Umevika taji thamani ya lugha teule ya Kiswahili. Nami sikuviki taji la ukoka ninapokupa hongera kwa kuthamini asili na jasho lako. Asante umeipa heshima @kanze_dena nami nakuzimia sigara."

Kanze Dena and Lulu Hassan have been the best friends for the 15 years they've worked in the media industry.

Lulu Hassan penned a heartwarming message to Kanze on her departure leaving many shading tears of joy.
