Legendary Tanzanian rapper Professor Jay has ditched his suits and is back into the grind like the rapper he is. For five years, he has been the member of parliament for Mikumi, Tanzania.

Last year in the general election, Jay lost the seat after attempting to run for a second term.In those five years, he had gone missing in action in the industry to attend to his political duties.

Well, he announced to his fans that he is fully back in the industry;

"Nawashukuru sana wote kwa USHAURI wenu, Sasa ni RASMI kuwa tutaliachia lile JAMBO letu Tarehe 8 APRIL baada ya siku 21 za MAOMBOLEZO kuisha, Asanteni sana kwa Ushirikiano mkubwa mnaoendelea kunipa, BLESS UP🙏🏻🙏🏻

"I thank each one of you for your advice. It is official that I'm realeasing a project on 8th April after the 21 days of mourning. Thank you for the support you are givingme, bless up"

In a message to his daughter, the rapper still belives that politics runs in the family as she urged her to follow President Samia Suluhu's footsteps
