Lovy Longomba returned home after leaving Kenya for the States over a decade and a half ago.

Together with his late brother Christian Longomba, the two brothers sought to build a fortune in the USA.

And true to their word, they made a good living.

Lovy who left Kenya in 2005 an afro-pop star returned as a prophet who shepherds a church in Los Angeles.

He revealed that he bought the church property for a handsome amount totalling Ksh 874m ($8 m).

Speaking to Jalango, Lovy said, he acquired this wealth by investing in the education sector as well as real estate business and charity work.

“Last year, I spent $1 million just to help the community. Life is about giving back and it doesn’t make sense when you sleep comfortably in a blanket knowing that someone else lacks that is not the gospel that is witchcraft” Lovy explained.

Speaking on how life has been ever since he relocated to the USA, Lovy revealed that he lives in the same neighbourhood as the Kardashians, Kanye West, Chris Brown and Akon in Calabasas, LA.

He also mentioned how Akon is a frequent visitor at his home since he lives 5 minutes away from his house.

“I live in Los Angeles Calabasas, it is the same area where Kanye West, Akon and Chris Brown live. It is a very nice place. Malibu beach is 10 minutes away from where I live.” he stated.
