Nairobi County Senator Mike Sonko is a man with a great heart. He has helped many jobless youths secure jobs and up to now he is still doing it just to ensure that they don't engage in immorality. After unveiling Mike Sonko Rescue Team, Sonko paid training fees the first 100 Sonko Rescue Team members to Kenya Redcross Training School where began their education and training on Basic First Aid Courses.

The flamboyant politician shared the good news on Facebook, and this is what he wrote: "My main aim of establishing Sonko Rescue Team was to create Jobs for our brothers and Sisters who are jobless kwa Mtaa.During the campaign period we all went around promising that we will create jobs to the Jobless, I'm just fullfilling my promise."

He further went on and explained why he sent the group to Kenya Redcross Training School

"Yesterday i wrote a cheque to Kenya Redcross for the first 100 Sonko Rescue Team members. They began their education and training on Basic First Aid Courses at the Kenya Redcross Training School."

"We have also acquired two more fully equipped ambulances from Red Cross.This partnership will go a long way in Serving not only the great people of Nairobi but all Kenyans from all corners of the country. I believe that Sonko Rescue Team is a good platform for empowering and equipping youth with skills and education so that they can engage in active nation building," he concluded.
