The love story between Anerlisa Muigai and Tanzanian rnb star Ben Pol was not brewed in a romance novel.

Ben pol takes us through the process.

In a recent interview with Tanzanian media, Ben Pol says he had no idea who Anerlisa Muigai was.

He narrated how they first met at a press conference in Nairobi.

“After addressing journalists at the briefing, I found myself and Anerlisa left alone in the hall. I did not know who she was; I did not know whether she was a multi-millionaire. I was only attracted to her because she was beautiful,” said Ben Pol.

He revealed that the spark did not ignite at first sight.

“We would have normal conversations on phone. In one week, we would communicate two or four times. When I met Anerlisa, at first, I did not harbour any love intentions towards her. Much later, I came to fall in love with the person that she was – her character, charisma and aura.”

He continued,

“It took me too long to know that she was the daughter of a billionaire. It also took me too long to know that she is the CEO of a water-bottling company Nero,” he said.

“I thank God that, when I first met her, I did not bother to know what she did for a living, because if I did, I would have automatically boxed myself into the temptation of faking my lifestyle. I am glad she saw and fell in love with the real Ben Pol, and not a faker of lifestyle.”
